Boba Fat?

I'm working on a new illustration...some might say it's a public service announcement.  Boba is so delicious, but the carbs will plump you like no other.  Beware.  Or be wearing a larger size soon enough!

Fairly Odd Racers

The studio is doing a big Mario Kart 8 competition, and the finals are today.  I decided to predict the outcome.

With no bias whatsoever....

Happy Pantry: Almost Alliterative Alphabet Book - the Letter K

K is for Kissable Kettle.

Just in time for Memorial Day.  Hopefully you're as kissable as our kettle...although I don't know why someone would kiss a kettle.  Maybe if you're boiling water...then that kettle is hot stuff!

Wonderland Gallery at Leanna Lin's

There's a really cool benefit for animals happening at Leanna Lin's Wonderland.  The opening night is July 18th from 6-10 pm.  And the show runs from July 18th to August 23rd.  The art benefits the North Central Shelter.
Art by Genevieve Santos

Leanna Lin's Wonderland is a great gift/art/toy shop in Eagle Rock.  It's on 5024 Eagle Rock Blvd, Los Angeles, CA  90041.

Happy Pantry: M is for Manic Mug

Coffee is a big part of our lives.  I've realized that I can't go a morning without falling asleep on the drive to work if I don't have a mug o' joe.  But only if Joe is coffee.  I don't know why it's Joe.  I could look it up, but who cares?  Especially when I'm falling asleep at the wheel of a car.  Luckily for me, I'm not the driver.  So I can pass out for as long as I want...until I get to work, then I have to get it together.

While you want to indulge yourself in some coffee....as some scientific (or should I say that with quotes?  Well, to be safe, don't quote me on that) studies conclude that coffee saves lives and hugs babies, it's probably still a safe bet to not go overboard.  Drink your coffee responsibly, or risk the jittery manic mug.

Comic Con!

All the nerds and hipsters and everyone in between descend upon San Diego this week, starting today.  It's all about movies and comics and cool tv shows and video games...oh, and toys and cosplay and nerds and sweating and stinky.  It's all of those things and it's gloriously busy and fascinating and horrible.  All at once.

This is our ode to the con, complete with newsprint style dots.
From zompeas to Indibanana Jones to people in bow ties and glasses, Comic Con has it all.

Gaze into the face of Fear

I always liked Judge Fear the most.  Even though he was a rather one trick pony (with the look at my face and die of fright thing).  And Judge Death had all the cool lines as well as being able to stick his hand through people to kill them.
This isn't the best, but I thought it was good enough to post...I wanna draw him again and see if I can't do it better.

I also never noticed, until I started drawing him, that Judge Fear had bear traps as shoulder pads. Very strange.  Oh - he also has a cape, which I forgot to draw...heh.  I just realized just now.
