Fairly Odd Parents: Poof!

Fairly Odd Parents, a show I worked on since 2002 finally called it quits in early 2014.  What's nice about the brand is that it doesn't ever seem to stay in retirement for too long.  FOP is coming back for another season!  That makes....10 seasons?  Something like that.

During season 9 we had a crew contest to design a t-shirt for the crew.  Above is my design.  I didn't win - in the 9th season they were introducing a new character, and mine featured Poof who was introduced a couple of seasons previously...not to mention the winning design was better...

This is what the hair clip looks like in our Happy Pantry packaging.  The cupcakes are embroidered and the hair clip itself is wrapped so it's not pokey and easy to stick on the head, not into the head!

Happy Pantry: Latte and Onion Tote Bags

 We had bags made of our three favorite characters.  Eventually we'd like to even make a kitchen towel and apron from the Onion, but for now...bags!

It's terrible that the words, "Totes Adorbs" are out there in the world...because now that I have that string of letters in my head AND have actually made totes - not to mention the fact that the tote bags are quite adorable...it's hard not to think totes adorbs.  But I don't feel good doing it.

 Nothing says Valentines like a sweet sweet cupcake.  Or...you're my sweet cupcake, baby!  Which nobody should say to anyone...

 It's good to love something...especially if it's a magical wakening elixir!

 I love donuts.  Because they're bad for you.  You eat too many and you end up looking like one.

 Coffee is good...but you can't snuggle with coffee.  You could, but then you'd have to deal with all the burns.  Or stains...or weird questions and awkward looks...

Steve Wonder, eat your heart out...wait, was it Lional Richie?  Okay - Liono Richie, Eat your heart out!  Kalam, Kalam, Kalamata Olives HO!

Baby in a bib! A special Happy Pantry post

Geoff Skinner stopped by our Happy Pantry booth and got a cupcake Bib for his daughter, Sierra.

Here she is showing off how styling she is.  The cupcake bib would never again be this clean.  But it's doing it's job!

Happy Pantry Pic from Designer Con

I found a picture taken by Lee Joseph on the internet of our booth at Designer Con.  The show was from the second weekend of November, 2014.  And it was a lot of fun!  We've always gone as attendees, and this was our first time showing there.  Hopefully it won't be our last!

As you can see - we weren't ready for the pic…there wasn't a, "say cheese" or anything…but the who cares about us?  Look at the merch!  We like it.

Happy Pantry: Banana you glad I didn't say Minion?

The minions were one of the best parts about Despicable Me.  And then they kind of overwhelmed the second movie…and I'm getting kind of skeptical about a whole movie with just them (the Minion Movie).

That said - I really like their look.  It's simple and adorable.  I even did a Minion pumpkin for Halloween this last year.

Anyhow - I thought it would be fun to do some of our Happy Pantry characters dressed as minions.  They're also big fans.  And none as big a fan as the Banana…but mostly because they share a skin tone.
