Happy Pantry is going to Designer Con

We're debuting Indibanana Jones in plush form at Designer Con in a week and a half - November 21st and 22nd!  It's in Pasadena and we're at booth 309 all weekend!

Inland Empire Cupcake Fair and Baking Expo

October 4th kicks off our busy season!  It's your first chance to buy our Ms Cupcake plush in person!  Especially since most people didn't know we had them at the Long Beach Comic Con a couple of weeks ago...because we didn't know we were going to have them in time!

We're excited to be bringing Happy Pantry to the Inland Empire...and not only that - but we're going to be at the IE Cupcake Fair and Baking Expo!  AND we have our cupcake plushes!  We're terribly excited about that...people like our cupcakes!

It's all happening on October 4th from 12-4 pm.  If you get VIP tickets, you can get in at 11!  That's a whole extra hour of cake and treat sampling!  Not to mention there won't be a line at our booth until the normal folk are let in at noon!  Do you wanna be normal and line up like a sucker?  Do you wanna be special and get pampered for a full hour before having to mingle with stinkies?  Get your VIP tickets!  It's only $5 more!  Sheesh!

 Nothing says Valentines like a sweet sweet cupcake.  Or...you're my sweet cupcake, baby!  Which nobody should say to anyone...

 It's good to love something...especially if it's a magical wakening elixir!

 I love donuts.  Because they're bad for you.  You eat too many and you end up looking like one.

 Coffee is good...but you can't snuggle with coffee.  You could, but then you'd have to deal with all the burns.  Or stains...or weird questions and awkward looks...

Turns out we made a lot of things this past year with our Ms Cupcake character.  We started with the bottle cap necklaces, expanded into kitchen towels and aprons and just in December we got our order of Cupcake Plushes in...

And just a month later we're already running out of plushes!  We're in talks to reorder them.

How exciting is it to make products that people are happy to receive?  This is even better than sending Unibomber packages…I don't think anyone was happy about that.  But getting Happy Pantry stuff for your birthday?  It's just the best….if I do say so myself.

We were at LA Cookie Con this last sunday (a special blog devoted to that will follow shortly) - and everyone called our Plush a stuffed animal.  I've done that in the past too, but I've conditioned myself to saying, "Plush"…because that's the term, right?  Others have said Plushie - but those are probably also the same people who say totes adorbs.  And those people aren't right in the head.

We're terribly excited to be going to LA Cookie Con on January 25th!  It's right around the corner and there are a ton of stars and bakers and chefs and exciting people - all who either make amazing desserts or, at least, love them.
